Contract between Xinchuang Tech and Oxford University promotes the industrial development of Tech Towns

In the afternoon of December 20, 2017, London time, Xinchuang Tech, a subsidiary of Xinyuan Group, signed a contract with Oxford University. This means Xinchuang Tech has formally became a member of the Innovation Alliance of Oxford University and has ability to dock with the world's top scientific and technological resources. The chairman of Xinyuan Group Mr. Zhang Yong, and CEO of Innovation Center of Oxford University Mr. Matt Perkins attended the signing ceremony. Vice President of Xinyuan Group Mr. Chen Liyang, Associate Dean of Industrial Development Research Institute of Xinchuang Tech Mr. XuGuangrui, General Manager of Xinchuang Tech London Mr. Wang Lei, COO of Innovation Center of Oxford University Mr. Adam Stoten, Director of Venture Capital Mr. Adam Workman, Director of Technology Conversion Ms. Catherine Spence, and head of marketing department Mr. Simon Gray also attended the signing ceremony.

The signing of the contract is another milestone in the process of docking UK industrial resource after Xinchuang Tech successfully set up Xinchuang Cambridge Technology Center and Xinchuang London Technology Center in September. The two sides will carry out in-depth cooperation in the fields of biotechnology, artificial intelligence, new information technology and new materials. Oxford University's top technology and industrial resources will be seamlessly docked and deeply integrated with Xinchuang Tech featured towns to jointly build a town ecosystem with distinctive features, leading technology and complete supporting facilities. As we know, Oxford University keeps high standards and strict requirements in the process of choosing partners. The successful signing of the contract benefited not only from the good international credit of Xinyuan Group's overseas listing, but also from the constant exploration and practice of Xinchuang Tech in the field of tech towns. The technology transformation cooperation between Xinchuang Tech and Oxford and Cambridge symbolizes that Xinchuang Tech towns have been favored and recognized by the world's high-end resources, and strengthens the characteristic label of internationalization and high-end for Xinchuang Tech towns.

Oxford University Innovation Center is a wholly owned company of Oxford University. It manages Oxford University's technology transfer and academic consulting, and provides technology transfer consulting services to customers around the world.
