The 2019 China-Ireland Health Technology Matchmaking and Cooperation Conference was held in Beijing

On March 30, with the support of the Embassy of Irelandin China and the China Association of International Trade, Xinchuang Tech sponsored The 2019 China-Ireland Health Technology Matchmaking and Cooperation Conference in Beijing. The purpose of this conference is to promote the bidirectional matchmaking between Health Technology institutions and enterprises in China and Ireland, and to accelerate the cooperation of Irish high-end innovative industry resources in China. More than 100 guests, from 40 Chinese and Irish enterprises and institutions in the fields of health care, information technology, investment consultation and nearly 10 local governments, attended the conference. They exchanged views on collaborative innovation and business cooperation in health tech between China and Ireland, especially in co-construction of innovation research and development centers, trade in medical devices and health food, and landing of international hospital cooperation.

Mr. Eoin O'Leary, Ambassador of Ireland to China, Mr. Xu Jin, President of China Association of International Trade, and Mr. Lizhou Zhang, Executive Director and CEO of Xinyuan Group delivered speeches respectively. Mr. Eoin O'Leary said that China's strong economic scale and industrial base will provide solid business support and broad growth space for Irish enterprises to come to China. Ireland's superior medical technology and enterprises will promote the vigorous development of China's Health technology industry. He hoped that China and Ireland will strengthen scientific and technological innovation cooperation and achieve mutual benefit and win-win situation.

Mr. Xu Jin said that Ireland's achievements and experience in the field of health care are of practical significance in solving China's current problems of environmental pollution, food hygiene, education and health care. China's huge population base and living needs provide Irish enterprises with a large number of business opportunities. He hoped that more Irish institutions and enterprises will come to China to develop and continuously strengthen bilateral trade in health care technologies and products.

Mr. Lizhou Zhang said that China's consumption upgrading and population aging have brought huge demand for healthy old-age services. Xinchuang Tech, a subsidiary of Xinyuan Group, has actively constructed an innovative cooperation platform between China and Ireland, introduced international health medical technology projects, invested in tech towns and innovative parks, and built a leading health technology industry and service system, contributed value for improving people's well-being and the quality of local economy.

Ms. Xiaoying Yang, Director of Microsoft China, introduced the latest technologies and products in artificial intelligence and information-based medicine as a cooperative enterprise representative. Xinchuang Tech introduced Zhengzhou Central Plains Startup Townand Dalian International Health Technology Town, and signed cooperation agreements with CIECC High-Tech Consulting Center, Aerospace Medical Health Technology Co., Ltd., Mazars Consulting Galway and Ireland medical devices company Enterasense Co., Ltd.

The 2019 China-Ireland Health Technology Matchmaking and Cooperation Conference is an important event organized by Xinchuang Tech to actively promote Sino-Irish innovative industry cooperation. It has laid a solid foundation for the effective introduction of Irish Health technology resources and the construction of health medical industry parks and towns in the future.
