In January of 2019, Mayor Chengxu Tan led a delegation of our city to visit the National Digital Research Center of Ireland, the Innovation Incubator of Dublin City University and the Biological Innovation Center of NUI Galway, and made an in-depth discussion on strengthening the exchange of scientific and technological innovation.

In order to promote the practical cooperation between the two sides, more than 10 experts, scholars and executives, such as Fasial Sharif, Executive Directorof Bioinnovateof NUI Galway, Liyang Chen, President of Xinchuang Technology,Daragh Sharkey, Executive Director of Xinchuang Technology Center Ireland, have come together to communicate with relevant regions and departments of our city for cooperation in digital, medical industry incubation, scientific and technological innovation and biomedical science, and promote specific projects to settle down in Dalian Xinchuang International Health Technology Town.

Mayor Chengxu Tan welcomed the visit of the delegation of Irish Health technology enterprises and introduced the economic and social development and technological innovation of our city to the guests. After inquiring about the development and construction of Dalian Xinchuang International Health Technology Town, the matchmaking of cooperative projects and the guarantee of factors, Mayor said that the Dalian municipal governments at all levels will adhere to the cooperative concept of honesty and trustworthiness, mutual benefit and win-win situation, adhere to the spirit of "contract", make sure that they are honest and credible, promote practical cooperation between the two sides, and attract more Irish enterprises in healthcare and scientific and technological innovation to settle in Dalian to achieve common development.

During the meeting, members of the delegation of Irish Health Technology Enterprises said that they would take advantage of Dalian's location, environment, talent, industry and innovation advantages to accelerate the early stage work, strive for the project to land as soon as possible, and promote the further development of bilateral cooperation.
